This page is about the cycle of violence.  This cycle has 3 Phases.

Phase 1 - This is the first phase that most women recognize right away. This is when the women realizes that there will be a storm shortly, his temper is short and tenseness fills the air.

Phase 2 - The storm has started and now the violence is running high. This phase is the actual physical abuse phase.


Phase 3 - The calm of the storm begins now. This is where the apologies, blame and promises start. The abusers needs to defuse the situation and minimize what he has done to ensure that you stay. The games begin.
